Is AromaTheraPutty safe to use? AromaTheraPutty® is designed for general wellness and sensory support and is enjoyed by both adults and children ages 5 and up when used as intended. Adult supervision is recommended for younger users. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
Can AromaTheraPutty get wet? AromaTheraPutty should be kept away from water, lotions, and wet hands. Exposure to moisture can make the putty very sticky due to its pigments and oils. Always ensure hands are clean and completely dry before use, especially after applying hand sanitizer or lotion. If the putty is exposed to a small amount of moisture, gently kneading in a small amount of baking soda may help absorb it. Heavy exposure to water may permanently alter the texture.
Will AromaTheraPutty stick to fabrics or surfaces? Yes. AromaTheraPutty may stick to: Clothing and fabrics Carpeting Upholstery Silicone items (such as silicone rings or accessories) We recommend using AromaTheraPutty on clean, dry, non-porous surfaces.
How do I remove putty if it sticks to fabric or carpet? If putty becomes embedded in fabric or carpet: Cold is best — use ice cubes to harden the putty before gently removing it Alcohol-based hand sanitizer can help break down the putty for removal A mixture of original Dawn® dish soap and white vinegar may help loosen residue Please note: WD-40 may help dissolve the putty but can cause staining and is not recommended for delicate fabrics. Always test cleaning methods on a small, inconspicuous area first.
Will AromaTheraPutty stick to silicone items? Yes. AromaTheraPutty can adhere to silicone items such as silicone rings or accessories. If this happens, alcohol-based hand sanitizer can help remove the putty from the surface.
What should I do if the jar is difficult to open? Because AromaTheraPutty is neither a solid nor a liquid, it may occasionally settle into the grooves of its container. Storage tip: Store jars flat whenever possible to prevent the putty from settling into the lid. Plastic Mini or Full-Size Jars Hold the jar on its side Grip the lid firmly in one hand and the base in the other Turn the base away from you using small, steady motions If needed, warming the plastic jar slightly (30–45 seconds) may help loosen the lid ⚠️ Only plastic containers should be gently warmed. Never microwave metal containers.
How should AromaTheraPutty be stored? Store in its container when not in use Keep away from heat, water, and direct sunlight Avoid placing near fabrics or porous surfaces With proper care, AromaTheraPutty remains reusable and long-lasting.
